Our Story

Honoring Friendship and Inspiration: The Story of "4Liva Designs"

Rhonda and Vali have enjoyed a friendship spanning over a decade, always imagining the day they could work together on creative projects and stroll along the beach collecting sea shells.

Overcoming. Hardships

On February 13th, 2023, Vali experienced a severe brain aneurysm, which dramatically impacted her ability to work and delayed many of their plans. As she began her journey of recovery, another challenge emerged: the passing of Vali’s mother, Olivia Stratman, in 2024. These events made it difficult for Rhonda and Vali to realize their shared dreams.

Healing Through Creativity

Finding comfort in the simple joys, we returned to the beach, gathering sea shells and transforming them into meaningful creations. This process became an essential part of our healing.

Inspired by Olivia

Olivia Stratman was a woman of sophistication and candor,
always encouraging Vali and Rhonda to pursue what brought them happiness. Her heartfelt advice, especially moments spent on the telephone, instilled in us the courage to take action: “Don’t wait—embrace what you love right now.” Olivia’s support and spirited outlook served as the motivation we needed to open a store together.

Honoring Mothers Through "4Liva Designs"

To commemorate Olivia and all mothers who inspire theirchildren to pursue a joyful life, Rhonda and Vali established "4LivaDesigns." With Olivia’s memory guiding them, they embark on this adventure, hoping to channel her generosity and encouragement into their work.

A New Chapter

We are proud to announce the opening of "4Liva Designs", a store born from our love of beachcombing and creativity—activities that have helped us navigate health challenges, loss, and adversity.
Each item we make is truly one of a kind, making it a unique addition to any collection or space. Because of the nature of the creation process, no two pieces are identical. Thank you for your support.
